1000 Gallon. Available in either single-wall & dual-wall aboveground skid tanks meet Underwriters’ Laboratories UL-142 specifications for Aboveground Storage of Flammable and Combustible Liquids. Skid tanks are commonly used for fuel storage & lubricant storage. Dual-wall tanks provide a solution for secondary containment requirements. Newberry’s time-tested construction ensures long service life. Standard Color White. Optional colors and coatings are available.
Optional Accessories water-resistant
Emergency Vent: Required for UL142-certified tanks. It provides high-capacity pressure relief if the tank is exposed to fire.
Flip Top Fill Cap: Tanks do not come automatically with a fill cap. The flip-top fill cap is male-threaded and installed directly into a female-threaded bung on the top of the tank. The cap provides a direct filling access point when the hinged fill cap is in the open position. When closed, the screened opening protects the tank from debris and insects. The cap is also lockable with a padlock
Vacuum Vent (For Gasoline) or an Updraft Vent (For Diesel): Directs vapors outward and upward by NFPA 30. Protects the vent line from debris and insects. A water-resistant rain cap sheds water away from the vent lines. Slip-on design with set screws for easy installation. The internal drain channels water penetration out through the weep hole.
Paint: Newberry tanks come to stand in a “gray primer”. We recommend adding paint to extend the tank’s lifetime and help protect it from the outdoor elements.
Fuel Pumps: We also offer a variety of pumps that can be mounted on the top of the tank and screwed into a 2-inch bung. Please feel free to contact us if you want a quote with a fuel pump.

Understanding the 1000 Gallon Fuel Tank
A 1000 gallon fuel tank is a substantial storage solution designed to hold a significant volume of fuel. This category encompasses various types, including 1000-gallon diesel tanks, 1000-gallon gas tanks, and 1000-gallon gasoline tanks, each tailored to store different fuel types safely and efficiently.
Types and Applications
The versatility of a 1000 gallon fuel storage tank extends to its applications. From agricultural settings requiring a 1000-gallon diesel fuel tank for machinery to commercial sites utilizing a 1000-gallon oil tank for heating purposes, these tanks are integral to various operations. The 1000 gallon fuel trailer also offers mobility for on-site refueling in remote locations.
Features and Materials
1000 gallon fuel tanks are engineered with features to maintain fuel integrity and ensure safety. A 1000-gallon double-wall fuel tank provides an extra layer of protection against leaks, while a 1000-gallon fuel tank with a pump facilitates convenient dispensing. Constructed from robust materials like steel, these tanks are designed to withstand environmental stressors and provide long-term service.
Advantages of Adequate Storage
Opting for a 1000-gallon diesel storage tank or a similar capacity unit for different fuels offers several advantages. It ensures a steady supply of fuel, mitigates the risks associated with frequent deliveries and can contribute to cost savings by allowing bulk purchases. The presence of a 1000l propane tank or a 1000lb propane tank is also critical for businesses that rely on propane for energy or heating, ensuring they have ample reserves.
Compliance and Safety
Safety is paramount when dealing with fuel storage. A 1000 gallon fuel tank must adhere to specific regulations and standards to ensure it is safe for use. Tanks like the 1000-gallon fuel tank trailer are also subject to transportation safety standards, ensuring that they can be moved without posing a risk to the environment or the public.
Choosing the Right Tank
Selecting the appropriate 1000 gallon fuel tank involves considering the type of fuel, the intended use, and the location of storage. Factors such as the need for mobility, the presence of pumps, and the level of environmental protection offered by double-walled designs play a crucial role in the decision-making process.
