PRECEDENT® C-600 TRAILER REFRIGERATION UNIT
The Precedent line, which includes the C-600, sets the standard in transport refrigeration. Because the C-600 reefer is certified CARB Evergreen, you can enjoy double-digit fuel savings for the long haul, without the need for a DPF, today or down the road. The Precedent platform represents the very latest in transport refrigeration technology, but it’s backed by something that can only be built up slowly over time:

S-Series models, which include the S-600, S-700 and S-600M, already meet Tier 4 final emissions certification by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and California Air Resources Board (CARB). Further, they comply with CARB’s Ultra-Low-Emission Transport Refrigeration Unit In-Use Performance Standards (ULETRU).

Thermo King unveiled the Connected Precedent trailer refrigeration unit. Starting in 2018, all Precedent units will be equipped from the factory with Thermo King’s hallmark asset management system TracKing, which provides real-time updates for eff icient temperature management, Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) compliance and refrigeration unit performance. Once activated, the Connected Precedent allows users to monitor and analyze refrigerated operations to ensure temperature compliance and maximum uptime—without taking assets off the road.

Similarly, in-yard access makes it easier to prepare reefers for trips, ensuring that they are fueled and alarm-free, Thermo King said. In-yard access via Bluetooth delivers easy access to all trailers irrespective of their location, the company added.
